FLT3 Mutation Detection Panel, FLT3 MSQ FRG 1.1
For in vitro diagnostic use. Intended for professional use only.
FLT3 Mutation Detection Panel, FLT3 MSQ FRG 1.1, FLT3 (fms-related tyrosine kinase 3) gene, is the most commonly mutated gene in acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and is associated with the pathogenesis of the disease.
Two significant types of FLT3 gene mutations have been identified in acute myeloid leukemias. These are FLT3 Internal Tandem Duplication (FLT3-ITD) and FLT3 Tyrosine Kinase Domain (FLT3-TKD) mutations, both leading to the activation of FLT3. The most common mutation type in AML patients is FLT3-ITD mutation, observed in 20-30% of the patient population. FLT3-D835 mutation occurs in approximately 7% of AML cases and is associated with a poor prognosis. The rapid, accurate, and specific detection of FLT3 gene mutations allows for the determination of the drug substance and dosage to be used in the treatment of the disease.
FEATURES
- Single Tube Multiplex: The PCR process conducted in a single tube enables the multiplex detection of FLT3 gene ITD and TKD mutations.
- Simple and Fast: Working in a single tube multiplex format allows for quick restriction enzyme cleavage and capillary electrophoresis, ensuring straightforward and rapid results.
- High Sensitivity: The FLT3 Gene Mutation Detection Panel can identify even low-level mutations due to its high sensitivity. This facilitates accurate and comprehensive genetic analysis.
